Lady Eagles Sign To Continue Playing Careers
The Meridian Community College Lady Eagles Softball team hosted a signing ceremony Wednesday to recognize multiple sophomores signing to continue their softball careers. This group of sophomores will leave MCC as the winningest class of Coach Faith Robinson’s tenure.

Keirra Fair and Taylor Perilloux will continue their playing careers at Belhaven University. Aahliya Jones has signed to continue her career at Mississippi Valley State. The Lady Eagles have three other sophomores who have multiple offers and will sign, in the coming days, to continue their playing careers.

“I had eight outstanding sophomores. It’s going to be hard to fill their shoes. I wish them all the best in their future and I will miss them dearly.” Said MCC Head Softball Coach Faith Robinson.

The Lady Eagles are currently 21-17 overall and 14-12 in MACJC play. The Lady Eagles will close out the regular season Thursday with a doubleheader at Itawamba Community College. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00.
