Meridian - Bradley Wright has signed a letter of intent to join the Hillcats of Rogers State University.
Bradley, originally from Southampton, England, transferred to Meridian from Murray State University after his freshman year. While an Eagle, Bradley had an adjusted scoring average of 73.76 and helped lead the Eagles to a final No. 7 ranking in the final Golfstat poll of the season. In only two tournaments in the spring, Wright finished second at the Tyler Junior College Invitational and tied for first in the William Carey Collegiate Classic. He ended the season ranked No 10 individually by GolfStat.
Bradley said, " I'm thrilled to have signed with Rogers State, and I'm looking forward to my next years in college there. I had great experiences at MCC and enjoyed being part of such a great golf program."
Head Coach Ronnie Key said. "Bradley was a strong leader both on and off the course for us. Not only was he a first-team All-American on the course, but he was also an Academic All-American in the classroom. I know he will have a strong career at Rogers State."
