Damon Fitness Center
The Damon Fitness Center is a vital part of Meridian Community College’s athletic and wellness facilities, serving as the home of the Eagles’ men’s and women’s swimming & diving programs. Anchored by its pool, the facility provides a year-round training and competition space for MCC’s swim teams.
Named in honor of Wilhelmine Damon, a longtime Meridian Community College physical education instructor, the center reflects her lasting impact on campus. Damon continued teaching water aerobics at the facility well into her octogenarian years, leaving a legacy of health, fitness and dedication.
Beyond athletics, the Damon Fitness Center offers a wide range of amenities for both students and the community, including a weight room, fitness classes and a full studio for dance and aerobics. Its multi-purpose design makes it a hub for activity while remaining a cornerstone for MCC swimming & diving.
