Wanda McPhail Tennis Courts
The Wanda McPhail Tennis Courts at the Citizens National Bank Sports Complex usher in a new chapter for Meridian Community College tennis, providing the Eagles with a premier on-campus facility for the first time in program history. Completed in 2025 and hosting its first matches in the Fall of 2025, the complex gives both the men’s and women’s teams a true home venue after years of competing away from campus.
Named in honor of Wanda McPhail, one of the nation’s most accomplished community college tennis coaches, the facility celebrates a legacy of excellence. A member of both the Mississippi Junior College Sports Hall of Fame and the NJCAA Hall of Fame, McPhail built MCC into a powerhouse and left a lasting mark on the sport.
The facility features eight courts designed for both competition and spectator experience, with seating available at each court to keep fans close to the action. Along with a shared concession area with the adjacent softball field, the Wanda McPhail Tennis Courts provide a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for Eagles tennis.
