Tommy McDonald Field

Tommy McDonald Field at the Citizens National Bank Sports Complex marks a new era for Meridian Community College softball, providing the Eagles with a first-class home after years of competing off campus. Opened in 2024 and hosting its first games in 2025, the facility gives MCC softball a dedicated space that has quickly become one of the top venues in the state.

Located just across the street from main campus, the complex delivers a true game-day atmosphere with modern amenities throughout. The fully turfed field is complemented by Musco LED lighting, branded dugouts, a press box and a shared concession area with the adjacent tennis facility, creating a fan-friendly environment and an enhanced experience for student-athletes.

The field is named in honor of Dr. Tommy McDonald, a longtime leader at MCC who served as Vice President for Operations and dedicated more than three decades to the college. Affectionately known as “Mr. MCC,” his impact on the institution’s growth and development is reflected in a facility that now stands as a cornerstone for Eagles softball.
