Bio
Killian Griffin is in his first season as assistant coach and goalkeepers coach for the Meridian Community College men’s soccer program.
A native of Kilkenny, Ireland, Griffin played four years of collegiate soccer at the University of West Alabama, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management. During that time, he also competed in USL League Two for four summer seasons, gaining high-level experience in a competitive developmental league.
Griffin came through the youth academies at Waterford FC and Wexford FC and represented Ireland at the underage international level. He has coached various youth teams and worked numerous soccer camps in both Ireland and the United States.
He holds FAI National D and C Licenses, as well as a QQI Level 5 Certificate in Sport and Recreation Studies. Known for his emphasis on discipline and consistency, Griffin is passionate about player development and helping student-athletes grow on and off the field.
