Entering his third season as head coach of the Meridian Community College men's soccer program, Diego Figueroa continues to build a strong foundation for the Eagles. Under his leadership, the Eagles continued to show growth on the field, highlighted by the program producing a Second Team All-MACCC selection in 2025.

Prior to joining MCC, Figueroa served as head coach at National Park College, where he led the Nighthawks to a historic 12-1-3 season. Under his leadership, the program earned its first national ranking, finishing No. 19 in the country, and captured the Region 2 Championship for the first time in school history. His success at National Park showcased his ability to develop players and elevate programs to new levels of success.

Figueroa is also familiar with the MACCC, having served as an assistant coach at Pearl River Community College during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. While at Pearl River, he helped the Wildcats achieve the highest national ranking in program history at No. 3 in the country and played a key role as recruiting coordinator, helping assemble the highest-ranked recruiting class in school history.

Originally from Peru, Figueroa is known for his expertise in player development, tactical preparation, and game management. His vision for MCC soccer centers on creating opportunities for student-athletes to succeed both on the field and in the classroom while preparing them to continue their academic and athletic careers at four-year institutions.

Figueroa is committed to growing the game of soccer throughout Mississippi while building a competitive program that represents Meridian Community College with pride. He and his wife, Jenna, are proud to be part of the MCC family and the Meridian community.
