Eagles Ready for NJCAA Outdoor National Championships in New Mexico
MERIDIAN, Miss. — The Meridian Community College men's and women's track & field teams are set to compete this week at the NJCAA Division I Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, New Mexico.
The national championships will run from May 14-16, with competition beginning Thursday and the awards presentation concluding the event Saturday evening.
Head Coach Chip Gayden is excited for another opportunity to showcase MCC track & field on the national stage.
"We're excited for the opportunity to compete against the best in the country once again," Gayden said. "This group has worked hard all season and earned the chance to represent Meridian Community College at Nationals."
The Eagles will compete in multiple events throughout the three-day championship meet.
