Eagles Unveil 2026 Soccer Schedules, Season Tickets Now Available
MERIDIAN, Miss. – Meridian Community College has announced its 2026 men's and women's soccer schedules as the Eagles prepare for another exciting fall season at C.D. Smith Field. With the schedules now finalized, season tickets for all home matches are officially on sale at mcceagles.com/tickets.
The Lady Eagles open the 2026 campaign on Friday, Aug. 21, hosting Southern Union State Community College at C.D. Smith Field at Noon. The Eagles will begin their season two days later on Sunday, Aug. 23, welcoming Calhoun Community College for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
Both teams will face a challenging slate of non-conference opponents throughout August before opening MACCC play on Tuesday, Sept. 15, when Meridian travels to Decatur to take on East Central Community College.
The Lady Eagles and Eagles will each play 11 conference matches during the 2026 season while also hosting 11 home contests at C.D. Smith Field, giving fans plenty of opportunities to cheer on both programs throughout the fall.
Women's head coach Mike Smith returns for his 14th season leading the Lady Eagles after guiding Meridian to a postseason appearance in 2025. The Lady Eagles also saw two student-athletes earn All-MACCC honors last season. Smith welcomes back six sophomores while adding 20 newcomers as the program looks to build on last year's success.
On the men's side, Diego Figueroa enters his third season as head coach of the Eagles. Figueroa returns five players from last year's squad while welcoming 20 newcomers from around the world, giving Meridian a fresh look heading into the 2026 campaign.
With a mix of experienced returners and talented newcomers on both rosters, the Eagles and Lady Eagles are set for an exciting season.

Season tickets, which include admission to all home men's and women's soccer matches, are now available for $88 and can be purchased online at mcceagles.com/tickets. Individual game tickets are also available online for $8, while tickets purchased at the gate are $10.
